Abstract: At a determination of the maxi mal flow through a sewage system for defini ng di mensions of the drain pipes, the_ sewage system may be observed as a system of the certain number of pouring places. In that case the total maximal discharge can not be an amount of discharges of all pouring places, like the case when all of them are in function continually and the same time. The maximal discharge may be determined by using the theory of probability of si multaneous work of the pouring places, which in fact. from an other viewpoint is minimal to be issued as a calculating di scharge and in the same time the total system to function well. It is evident that is in the question a compromise between the correct function some sewage system and the economy if the third condition- the static safety is optimally solved. The discharge is estimated by this way, and which over the station for a treatment of waste. waters. pours out into the river, can be observed as a functi on of the degree of mixing with water in the river and the length_ of mixing and that can be solved by using of the theory of probability, as well. In that case is nece- ssary to take into the calculation some parameters which characterize the flows in the sewage system and the river. Comparing results which are obtained in this way with the measures on the terrain one come to the certain conclusions whether the pro- posal formulas can be used in the practical work and which is their accuracy.
