Abstract: A study is described for the "Extensive Climate Hazards and Vulnerabilities Assessment of the Tree Crop Sub-Sector in Ghana". The study has been collaboratively developped by Global Center on Adaptation (GCA), the Center for Research and Services for Sustainable Technological Innovation (CeRSITeS) at Sapienza University of Rome and University for Development Studies of Ghana in support of the World Bank's Ghana Tree Crop Diversification Project. The project primarily aims to: a) Understand the extent of climate risk and its implications for the productivity of tree crops; b) Develop a robust climate forecast model for comprehensive climate risk assessments; c) Design advanced early warning and forecasting models for floods and droughts; d) Identify potential policies and actions for economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable optimization of tree crop production.
