Keywords: Gent-Based Model Tsunami Resilience Literature Review

Abstract: The following presents a work-in-progress review paper. The paper catalogues and critiques Agent-Based Models (ABM) applied in tsunami resilience research from 2013 to 2024. It considers studies that have applied agent-based approaches as its primary or supporting modelling method. The content comprises an introduction and three parts. Part one uses the PRISMA 2022 protocol to compile a literature review matrix. Part two conducts a thematic analysis using NVivo software and quantifies the coverage of tsunami resilience keywords within the literature. Finally, part three critically analyses how ABMs have supported tsunami resilience across three dimensions: Robustness, Response and Recovery. Insights will inform tsunami resilience research in the future and support ABM methodologies within the disaster space.
