Abstract: With the continuous increase in flood risks, urban safety faces severe challenges. Currently, coupled models of pipe drainage and surface runoff are widely used in urban flood simulations, but they lack portability across diverse high-performance computing hardware architectures. This study, based on the Kokkos framework, develops a coupled hydrodynamic model SERGHEI-SWMM for one-dimensional pipe drainage and two-dimensional surface runoff, enabling parallel computation of the pipe drainage and surface runoff processes. In benchmark test, compared to models such as InfoWorks ICM, the relative errors in different scenarios are all below 9%. The model exhibits good performance portability across different hardware architectures, with an acceleration factor of 43.5 in single-GPU mode with real flood data from a university campus in Shanghai.
