Abstract: Indonesia's population growth rate is 0.99% per year. A serious problem in agriculture is to provide growing population with a secure supply of food. Rice is the main food commodity. Current national rice consumption reaches 139 kilograms per capita per year. The national rice demand in 2035 will reach 43 million tons. Rice production can be improved one of them by improving irrigation infrastructure and good water management. The development of tidal lowland agriculture is a strategic step in seeking alternative to increase food production, one of them is the Terantang tidal irrigation unit in Barito Kuala district. Water is principal component for agricultural production system. The operation of irrigation networks is mostly determined by the ability of water supply for agricultural area. This study was conducted to analyze the availability of water in the primary canal of the Terantang irrigation unit by Using FJ Mock method. In this study is shown that the maximum water availability is in December. Lowest water availability in September. The availability of water obtained will be useful for water management planning in the Terantang irrigation area.
