Abstract:
As climate-driven catastrophes increase, critical water infrastructure and heritage sites face unprecedented threats. Traditional asset management approaches have been reactive, waiting for damage to occur. However, accelerated advances in monitoring platforms, including low-altitude remote sensing, now enable proactive, fully integrated, and intelligent frameworks that have the potential for revolutionizing this field. This new approach directly addresses the urgent need to protect public safety, ensure water infrastructure resilience, and safeguard heritage assets from destructive water forces.
