Abstract: A pressure reducing valve is a hydraulic element placed in a pipeline to keep the downstream pressure constant. It is able to fulfil its task within certain limits and can change the pressure drop at a specific speed when flow conditions change. This paper focuses on measuring the static and dynamic behaviour of a pressure reducing valve.
