Abstract: The Pearl River Delta is highly vulnerable due to the low altitude and frequent typhoon attack. Thus flooding poses a severe risk of loss of human life and infrastructural values in this area. Our study is aiming to estimate the hydrodynamic process in Pearl River. D-Flow flexible mesh model is employed and is calibrated using in-site measured discharge, water level. Several test is simulated. The simulated water height and water depth is well with measured data in Pearl River Delta area.
