Abstract: Rose Katherine Morton graduated in 1945 from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro NC, as a mathematician. She then moved as a mathematician to the David W. Taylor Model Basin, Navy Dept., Washington DC, where she was involved in model tests and computations of hydrodynamic problems.
