Abstract: The paper gives predicted flowfields downstream of two-dimensional offset jets. results were obtained for flat beds as well as for scour holes of various sizes. The FLUENT computer package was used for this purpose. The effects of various turbulence models were investigated. The numerical solutions were compared with various experimental results obtained by many researchers in this field.
