Abstract: The numerical simulation of flood in a small urban drainage basin is carried out for the heavy rainstorms. In the numerical model, the rainfall excess is evaluated by the analysis of unsaturated seepage flow. The model is applied to estimate the change of floods after the construction of floodway.
