Abstract: The Huangling anticlinal region lies in east Three Gorges of theYangtze River.According to different physiographic factor,thesediment yield at the Huangling anticline can be divided intofiv sediment yield zones,namely,I.zone of metamorphic rocks,II.zone of plagioclas granite,III.zone of quartz-diorite,IV.zone of limestone,V.zone of sandstone and limestone.Posi-tions of sediment yield zones are shown in the Fig.1.
