Abstract: One of the major water pollution problems in urban areas is thatof combined sewer overfiows(CSO).Through application of bestmanagement techniques itis intended to reduce runoff and pollu-tion at their sources,thereby also reduce Cso.Here,theefficiency of roof runoff on-site recycling for toilet flushingis evaluated with respect to reduction of storm water runoff,combined sewer overflow volume and supplied water.
