Abstract: Transient drawdown formulae of a general nature are developed in this paper for the problem o f full penetration in bounded aquifer by treating the well radius to be finite. Separate solutions are developed for recharge and barrier types of boundaries, assuming t he boundaries to be circular. Factors defining the loss of storage of the well and leakage through the aquitard are included in formulating the problem. The aquifer is considered to the isotropic.
