Abstract: After a major earthquake occurs, tsunami overflow and aftershock may occur at the same time. However, there is little research examining the effects of the superposition of an earthquake and a tsunami. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the applicability of the fluid simulation that the overlap the tsunami and earthquake was attacked to breakwater. In the result, it was confirmed that the three-dimensional fluid-rigid body coupled analysis methods can reproduce the forces that the past experiment about vertical breakwater caisson when an earthquake and tsunami occur simultaneously to the faclities.
