Abstract: Climate change presents a significant threat to coastal communities as well as infrastructure, with an increasing frequency and intensity of extreme events like storm induced flooding and sea level rise. Predicting the behavior of these events under future climate scenarios is essential for enhancing resilience and preparedness. This research leverages predictive modeling, laboratory experiments, and field observations to evaluate potential hazards and predict the impacts of climate change and sea-level rise on coastal community, critical coastal infrastructure, water resources and waste management facilities. In this study, the potential impact of climate change along the coastal stretches is assessed by predicting the behavior of different cyclonic events under future climate change scenarios and its corresponding impacts on ocean and coastal processes (waves, storm surges, inundation, and morphology), Coastal water resources (surface and ground water) and waste management infrastructure, through numerical modeling, field and laboratory experiments. Finally, this research provides effective, sustainable adaptation and mitigation for the coastal infrastructures and communities.
