Abstract: Efficient and effective operation and maintenance of river-crossing structures are critical tasks in national water resource management. While traditional methods involve using manned vessels equipped with single-beam or multibeam sonars, the recent advent of Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) has brought significant attention to remote sensing applications. However, systematic verification of the precision and positional accuracy of data obtained using USVs, key factors for practical application, remains insufficient. This study investigates the applicability of USVs equipped with multibeam sonar in riverine environments by acquiring bathymetric data and analyzing their positional accuracy and precision against true values.
