Abstract: Soft robots have recently been extensively studied for applications in a variety of environments, accomplishing multifunctional tasks. Here, we develop a novel type of soft robots driven by m ixed gas (i.e., oxygen and propane) combustion in a chamber sealed by expandable silicon- rubber membrane.
