About

Yellow River Institute of Hydraulic Research, YRCC (YRIHR) was founded in 1950. As a multidisciplinary and comprehensive scientific research institution affiliated to the Yellow River Conservancy Commission (YRCC) of the Ministry of Water Resources, P.R. China, YRIHR is centered on fluvial sediment research. It is also one of the four non-profit research institutes in China’s water conservancy system. YRIHR is principally dedicated to applied basic research, technological development research, macro-strategic research, and technical consulting services in the water conservancy industry. Its research scope covers water disaster prevention, water resources, water environment, water governance, digital twin water conservancy, and other related fields, involving more than 60 specialized disciplines.
