Global Vision Forum is a high-level academic exchange platform established by the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR), one of the two host institutes of the IAHR Secretariat, to bring together leading experts and scholars from around the world in the fields of water resources, hydropower and related disciplines, with the aim of promoting cutting-edge scientific discussions and technological innovation.
Since its launch in 2010, the Forum has held more than 100 sessions, inviting authoritative experts from both China and abroad to focus on frontier topics such as water science, environmental engineering, and disaster management, fostering interdisciplinary integration, placing emphasis on introducing international experience, and sharing global case studies and technological achievements.
