This IAHR training course focuses on No-Code Visual Programming for Hydrology, leveraging AI-enabled web platforms and open-source tools tailored for research and education. Centered around the complete "data-to-decision" research workflow, the course delivers hands-on instruction through the HydroSuite library collection and the HydroBlox visual programming environment. Key content includes data acquisition from major global APIs (e.g., USGS, NWM, GPM, ECMWF), rigorous data preprocessing and quality control, hydrological analysis, and the application of embedded LLMs for AI-driven data discovery. Additionally, it covers model integration and execution in a web environment, as well as the creation of advanced interactive dashboards with linked maps and charts. Participants will synthesize all learned concepts to develop a fully functional, shareable dashboard as a capstone project, applying practical solutions to real-world hydrological research challenges.
