IAHR India Young Professionals Network
About Us
The IAHR India Young Professional Network is a diverse group uniting young professionals and students with interests in water science and hydro-environmental engineering. Currently, the India YPN is represented in various Indian institutions and universities. It aims to facilitate interactions and collaborations among young professionals, industry, government, and other national and international networks. Its objectives include sharing knowledge, exchanging research ideas, exploring project opportunities, and encouraging young professionals' participation in policy-making and strategic water research initiatives.
To achieve these objectives, the India YPN will actively promote and support initiatives that bring together young professionals from diverse backgrounds, such as consulting, research, and business, interested in exchanging expertise in hydro-environmental engineering at both national and international levels. To facilitate this, the India YPN will organize meetings, conferences, expert lectures, and webinars. It will also collaborate with other YPNs to share research outcomes and opportunities through its website, social media platforms, and events.
