Save the Date - Workshop on Advanced measurement Techniques and Experimental Research (WATER) : The 10th edition of the W.A.T.E.R. Summer School will take place at the Hydraulics Laboratory on the campus of the University of Stuttgart (Germany) from 31 August to 4 September 2026.

The summer school is planned as a metrological hands-on event in hydraulics and fluid mechanics. This workshop is aimed at post graduate researchers, such as PhD candidates, or anyone seeking advanced training in state-of-the-art measurements techniques.Besides offering lectures on the fundamental aspects of acoustic and laser-optical techniques for flow measurements and hydraulic research, special emphasis will be placed on the hands-on implementation of these techniques in open water channels and other test facilities.
