About

Moise Ndekezi is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatics Engineering at the University of Rwanda, College of Science and Technology (UR-CST). With over 15 years of experience in civil engineering, he specializes in water resources engineering, combining expertise in teaching, research, and professional practice. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and Environmental Technology from the former Kigali Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) (now UR-CST) in 2011, and a joint Master's degree in Water Resources Engineering from KU Leuven and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Belgium, in 2014. Moise is a Professional Engineer registered with the Institution of Engineers Rwanda (IER) since 2021. He serves as a member of the Technical Committee on Dams at the Rwanda Water Resources Board (since 2022) and the Rwanda Standards Board (RSB) Technical Committee on Solid and Hazardous Waste Management (since 2025). Since 2023, he has also been the Programme Leader for the BSc in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering at UR-CST.
