Dr. Priyank J. Sharma is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, India. He worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar in Hydrosystems Research Laboratory (HRL) at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) during April-September 2020. He completed his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with specialization in Water Resources Engineering from SVNIT Surat, in January 2020. He is a recipient of ‘INSPIRE Fellowship’ by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and ‘Institute Gold Medal’ for securing first position in M. Tech. (WRE) for the batch 2012-14 at SVNIT. He has received several awards and accolades for his academic and research performance, the prominent being ‘Prof. U. C. Kothyari Best PhD Thesis Award 2020’ by Indian Society for Hydraulics. He has authored thirty-five research publications till date, including ten articles in peer-reviewed journals of high impact factors and five book chapters.
