He studied Civil Engineering at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, he obtained his Master and PhD in Water Resources Engineering at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Hi researches focused on the application of mathematical models (e.g. statistical, stochastic, data-driven and AI models) to understand physical processes in hydrology, hydraulics and hydro-meteorology.
