Kwabena Asiedu Sarpong (Ransford Asiedu Sarpong),is a Ghanaian born citizen from a town called Larteh - Akuapem, which is located in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He is currently a PhD candidate in Water Conservancy & Hydropower Engineering at Hohai University, China. He holds an MEng in Water Conservancy & Hydropower Engineering, a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Accra Technical University, Ghana, and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering from Takoradi Technical University, Ghana. Over the years, he has worked in the building construction industry for various private companies, and currently runs an NGO that seeks to conserve available river/water bodies , and provide portable drinking water to communities in the Akuapem-North Municipality. His research interests include; Transient flows in water pipelines; fault detection in water pipelines; signal processing, two-phase flow; and Data Analytics
