Abstract: In this study based on some literature reviews a closed-form solution for investigation of longitudinal and transverse velocity in a channel with 90o bends was presented. By using experimental data obtained in an experimental analysis in Tarbiat Modares University of Tehran analytical results were verified. Results of proposed equations have estimated values of transverse and longitudinal velocities well and have good agreement with experimental data
