Abstract: Disaster information systems (DIS) are required for when disasters strike. Some web sites or systems already provide information concerning evacuation shortly before a disaster occurs, but most people access them on daily basis only after a disaster occurs. To overcome this problem, we have commenced development of a DIS called giS ight. In this study, we add some additional functions, write a client program, and perform server-side modification. Since it is too difficult to port the PC program AIR to Android, we develop a native application for Android from scratch. This mobile application alerts residents about the need to evacuate as soon as possible after a disaster.
