Abstract: To obtain a cost raster layer is needed: To determine the floodplain hazard level raster, To determine the vulnerable territorial items from the land use map, To calculate costs allocation depending on the item category and To intersect flood area hazards raster layer and valued land use layer and to adjust weighted coefficients. In this way a continuous map of potential damages will be obtained. This information is used for cost-benefit analysis of structural mitigation measures to guarantee comparative basis.
