Abstract: The paper presents the 2D physical model tests conducted in the CEDEX Large Flume to study the Coruna Outer Port breakwater construction stages. The aims are: (A) to define temporary construction protections and (B) to determine the waves heights during construction at which work must be stopped for the workers’safety. Information about performance during construction is also included.
