Abstract: An implicit unstructured-grid finite volume model is proposed, aiming at the solution of the Shallow-water equations and the Advection-dispersion equation, in order to manage long- term simulations of water quality changes in shallow-water bodies. A number of numerical experiments, showing the promising capabilities of the model, are reported.
