Abstract: Based on a large number of field data, the paper has analyzed flood level and bed level variation at the midstream and downstream of Changjiang River in the past 50 years. It has been found that there is close relationship between the river variation and the phenomenon of flood level going up distinctly and lasting long time. The paper has offered an important basis to study the influence factor causing flood level higher and higher.
