Abstract: The mixing process of wastewater discharging from a submerged single port was analyzed using the three-dimensional jet integration-particle tracking hybrid model. A comparison of model simulations with experimental measurements shows that the proposed hybrid model properly simulates the initial mixing process in the near field and passive advection-diffusion process of plumes in the far field.
