Keywords: Hydraulic jump Reynolds number turbulence characteristics turbulence intensity velocity

Abstract: The characteristics of velocity and turbulence in hydraulic jumps have been investigated experimentally with undeveloped inflow conditions. For a wide range of Reynolds numbers, the velocity and turbulence intensity distributions are clarified, showing the effects of the Reynolds number on the turbulence characteristics in hydraulic jumps with undeveloped inflow conditions.
