Abstract: The temporary dyke of seaport of Tra Vinh Province and dam connecting between two islands-Honla and Honco located in Honla Port, Quangbinh Province have been broken during construction time. The failure of these projects is caused from design wave height that lower than they were. When calculation of design parameter, much attention should be given to the topography which increases the height of wave.
