This series webinar is organized by the IAHR Italy Young Professionals Network (YPN). It aims to provide a platform to showcase the research and activities of Italian professors and universities, while also fostering and promoting young scientists within the Italian academic community.
In this session, Prof. Giulia Zuecco will deliver the opening and closing remarks, while Girma Berhe Adane from the University of Padova will present his research on how soil erosion dynamics in the Dolomitic catchments (Italy) respond to meteorological forcing. Under Prof. Zuecco’s supervision, his research integrates high-resolution multi-temporal Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), satellite and field-based experimental data to provide a comprehensive understanding of erosion processes in the Dolomitic area.
