IAHR awards the fourth and fifth IAHR Label for Water Training and Education.

The IAHR Label for Water Training and Education is awarded jointly by IAHR and UNESCO under the Intergovernmental Hydrological Program (IHP) to institutions promoting and implementing excellence in training and education programs for competent and skillful professionals in the water sector. This distinction highlights the commitment of IAHR and UNESCO-IPH to educational excellence, fostering innovative and sustainable solutions to address global water challenges.

IAHR is pleased to announce that it awards the IAHR Label for Water Training and Education to the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) for the following programmes:

• Doctor of Philosophy programme (River and Urban Drainage Management), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).

• Master of Science programme (River and Urban Drainage Management), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).
  

 Doctor of Philosophy Programme on River and Urban Drainage Management

The River Engineering and Urban Drainage Research Centre (REDAC) offers a graduate programme encompassing several areas pertaining to River Management at the Doctor of Philosophy levels. These areas are River Management, Urban Drainage Management, Hydro informatics and Environmental Hydraulics Management. Research Thrust Areas: River Management, Urban Drainage Management, Hydroinformatics, and Environmental Hydraulics Management.

 Master of Science Programme on River and Urban Drainage Management

The River Engineering and Urban Drainage Research Centre (REDAC) offers a graduate programme encompassing several areas pertaining to River Management at the Master of Science. These areas are River Management, Urban Drainage Management, Hydro informatics and Environmental Hydraulics Management. This programme is open to all students of USM or other universities, local or international, who are qualified to pursue their graduate studies through research mode.
