Abstract: Multiple regression analysis was made to analyze the temporal change of riparian vegetation area in an unregulated sand-bed channel in South Korea. The results indicate that geomorphological and climatic factors also play a role to increase/decrease the riparian vegetation coverage as well as hydrological factors do.
