The IAHR-Spain Water Workshop Video Collection is a recording of a workshop hosted by the two organizations, Flood Risk Management. Digital approaches for hydrological monitoring and forecasting in basin organisations. The aim of the discussion is to disseminate information relating to modern-day flood safety in terms of digital technologies and management practices. Experts from across the globe contribute to the discussion.
Floods are amongst the most significant natural disasters countries can face in the world and Spain is no exception, with impacts on economies, food security and agriculture, infrastructures, as well as lives and livelihoods. Professionals in hydrological engineering got together to discuss their experience, knowledge, management techniques and technologies regarding digital approaches to flood risk management from Spanish basin authorities and some outside countries.
