Join us for the 25th IAHR Asia and Pacific Division Congress in Incheon, Korea!

The Local Organising Committee of the 25th IAHR Asia and Pacific Division Congress 2026 has decided to extend the abstract submission deadline to 13 February 2026, to allow more researchers and practitioners the opportunity to participate and the requests from researchers.

The Congress will serve as a platform to share research and insights on climate change and AI, particularly in the Asia-Pacific.Hosted by the Korea Water Resources Association and other Korean organizations, the congress aims to foster collaboration and inspire future research.

Climate change is significantly impacting water environments, increasing the frequency and severity of disasters like floods, droughts, and extreme rainfall. Events such as Typhoon Hinnamnor in 2022 highlight these growing risks, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. Climate change also affects aquatic ecosystems, vegetation, and weather patterns. At the same time, advances in artificial intelligence (AI) are opening new possibilities for addressing these challenges. In the hydro-environment sector, AI is being actively explored to develop innovative solutions.
