Presentations View Recording SDGs: a Quick Survey
The IAHR’s Working Group on Sustainable Development Goals (as a partner for the UN-Water task force) is relevant to many other SDGs, besides SDG6. While extreme natural events such as droughts and floods ignore political boundaries, an accelerated international collaboration is required to effectively manage the water resources. It can then be used as a leading vehicle contributing to peace building and cooperation, highlighting the capacity of the world’s organisations to come together in partnerships and cooperation to accelerate progress. Planning and participation in activities are included, which will foster discussions and collaborations with the local scientists and research groups.
Raise awareness about the importance of partnership and cooperation between youth and international organisations for achieving the SDGs.
Share successful partnerships and initiatives between youth and international organisations in environmental protection and SDG acceleration.
Discuss effective collaboration strategies for achieving SDGs and environmental protection.
Identify challenges and brainstorm solutions for effective partnership and cooperation.
Facilitate networking opportunities among like-minded individuals and organisations committed to working towards SDG acceleration and environmental protection.
The webinar intends to create a space for sharing the new insights and experiences to reflect on:
