Prof. Dr. Markus Aufleger is since 2007 full professor and head of the unit of Hydraulic Engineering at the University of Innsbruck in Austria. He has been manager of the Laboratory of Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering of the Technische Universität München from 2000 to 2007. He is working in the fields of dam engineering, river engineering, hydropower and water resources engineering. Markus Aufleger is active member of several professional organizations. Besides, he is co-founder of the Dreamwave Holding GmbH, Cologne.
