Convened every two years by IAHR Regional Divisions and in alternating years with the IAHR World Congress, IAHR Regional Congresses focus on the most pertinent and emerging topics at the regional level.
IAHR awards presented at Regional Congresses provide international professional recognition for the work of local hydro-environment engineers as well as for the quality, originality, and relevance of their research.
